Last week B&B Italia hosted a party to celebrate the opening of their newly extended London showroom and the launch of their first Outdoor collection. Not only did guests experience the impressive new showroom space, they were treated to a stunning installation – B&B Italia had commissioned award winning garden designer Stephen Woodhams to create an Italian garden to showcase the Outdoor collection. B&B Italia’s first Outdoor Collection includes designs by Patricia Urquiola and Richard Schultz. Woodhams designed an over-scale garden to reflect the architectural height of the showroom and its impressive new façade. Tall Magnolia Grandiflora trees were imaginatively and artistically situated inside the showroom and across the exterior façade and the scent of hundreds of white hyacinths filled the air. The installation is on display until 30th March 2008.
