Skandium opened its new flagship store designed by architects Lewis Granaiola in Brompton Road last night to over 400 people. Owners Chrystina Schmidt, Magnus Englund and Christopher Seidenfaden hosted the evening which was great fun with Finlandia cocktails, open sandwich canapés and great music.
The new store includes a selection of furniture from Knoll, Vitra and Cassina and a shop-in-shop showing the complete Iittala collection. New contemporary furniture design is represented by Asplund, Fjordfiesta, Fredericia, Swedese and Karl Andersson & Son. Another party will take place on the 20th of September as part of The Brompton Design District’s evening for The London Design Festival.
