On the 22nd March Camron held a press breakfast at The Soho Hotel for one of the world’s leading contemporary interior designers, Andrée Putman. The event marked her collaboration with Gaye Cevikel (founder of Gaia&Gino) and the launch of her new collection, ‘Lucky’ to the UK. ‘Lucky’ is inspired by the patterns of old Turkish figurative arts and Andrée has converted the famous ‘clover’ shape into a beautiful porcelain vase and bowl set. The intimate breakfast gave each guest the opportunity to meet with the ever glamorous and sophisticated pair and before the morning drew to a close we were privileged to hear a speech delivered by Andrée Putman. She spoke of her drive for ‘enthusiasm of curiosity’ and shared with us that her personal relationships throughout her 82 years have been the hallmark of what she does and who she is today. Gaia&Gino’s collaboration with Putman continues the philosophy behind the brand – one that is daring, unpredictable and sophisticated, creating home accessories, all of which have ‘something to say’.
