On Tuesday Liberty, London’s leading emporium of the beautiful, the creative and the unusual, transformed an area on the fourth floor into an oversized Advent Calendar for its ‘Christmas in July’ press event.
Liberty’s famous Tudor building was dressed and decorated to resemble one of the traditional Advent Calendars that are a favourite of children and adults alike. Behind each window would be a wonderful treat including Italian designer Piero Fornasetti’s china featuring his signature woman’s face in black and white, along with a range of delicious chocolate products from a fabulous new chocolate boutique ‘Chocomaya’ to seductive fragrances from Frederick Malle, the famous French brand which launches an exclusive area to Liberty this October.
