Stockholm Furniture Fair 2008
Pia and I decided to visit the recent Stockholm Furniture Fair. This was Camron’s first time at the Fair and we had no idea of what to expect but it proved to be a very worthwhile experience. Many of the big brands were evident such as Flos, B&B and Vitra but for us the real joy of the Fair was that we got to see many Scandinavian brands that never make it to Milan or the other international design shows. Like London, the Stockholm fair had a lot of off-site events, our favourite being the installation by the Swedish design Quartet Front – a series of mock wooden furniture in a copse of fake pine trees. Faketastic!
