The enigmatic four storey building owned by the Chinese lighting company Zhongtai fought off stiff competition from Zenith Optimedia’s headquarters designed by Bennett Interior Design and Naked Communications new office by Household.

Other winners included Established and sons for the Slide Bench by Future Systems, Thomas Heatherwick Studio for the Longchamp Store in New York and Poke, creators of this very website for best commercial digital design

The new Gilbert & George exhibit at the Tate Modern celebrates and commemorates the complete repertoire of the East End London artists. While wandering through the 18 rooms of their work, visitors feel as though they are making the 40-year journey alongside these infamous individuals, seeing their work mature through the years into what we know and love about them today. Their unique style and bold socio-political messages will surely shock most viewers. Get your tickets soon, because though the show doesn’t close until the 7th of May, these tickets are going fast!

Ever dream of being a prima ballerina, turning and pirouetting on stage? Pretty Ballerina’s, a new boutique on Brook St., may bring nostalgia to want-to-be dancers. The tiny shop sells nothing but stylish dance flats. The company started online as , but within the last month expanded the company and opened their store. The quaint closet-sized shop allows Pretty Ballerinas to offer their trendy footwear with the added bonus of trying them on before you buy!

Pesky parking tickets are nothing special, but while walking down Albemarle St. I was amazed to see two of them on a perfectly parallel parked “invisible car.‿ The sculpture outside Paul Smith is one of many life-sized pieces that are part of Benedict Radcliffe’s exhibition, ‘Modern Japanese Classics & Other Works’ which will be on display until today.

On 14th February Camron sent a team to the Basso & Brooke show as part of London Fashion Week. As the golden boys of luxury, colour and prints, Christopher Brooke and Bruno Basso’s AW07 collection is a feast of striking prints and elegant tailoring with a twist of fantasy (check out the Mad Hatter’s tea party hats!). The show, with its eclectic mix of followers, is always a highlight of fashion week anticipated by press buyers and fashionistas alike. The inspiration for this season’s collection came from JMW Turner’s experiments with colour and light along with Classical Greece imager and ornamentation.
