ACE HOTEL

When the original Ace hotel opened in Seattle, Time Magazine described it as, “a kind of superaesthetic barrack, with an in-the know economy of style, Architectural Record described its clientele as, “cash-conscious urban nomads, who, “flock to Seattle’s Ace Hotel for a fusion of European pension and minimalist luxury” while Wallpaper* declared, “The Ace Hotel is a mega-chain waiting to happen.”

The Ace team are known for there collaborations with local artists and suppliers to create a warmly minimalist aesthetic closely linked to the cultural life of the city they are located in. Following on from the success of the Portland and Seattle branches of the Ace hotel, they will be opening two new properties New York in November 2008 and Palm Springs in early 2009

ARMANI CASA

Armani Casa appointed Camron to handle the opening for the first store in London. Apart from organizing the launch parties, this has involved organizing interviews for Mr. Armani both in London and in Milan. The agency is placing key stories on his homes in Italy as well as news and features on the brand as a whole. Camron is also introducing key interior and fashion stylists to the store as well as highlighting the bespoke interior design service.

ARTREVIEW POWER 100

Now in its sixth year ArtReview’s Power 100 is one of the contemporary art world’s key cultural events. The prestigious Power 100 list includes collector profiles, Q&A articles on the balance of power in the art world written by respected critics and writers, as well information on which galleries and collectors dominated the sector in 2007. Judged by a silent panel of respected writers, critics and curators spread across the globe this year’s ArtReview Power 100 will be the biggest yet, set to ensure unprecedented coverage that will reach a worldwide contemporary art audience.

B&B ITALIA

One of the leading contemporary furnishing companies, B&B Italia opened its flagship showroom in 2001 at 250 Brompton Road, London SW3. Designed by John Pawson with Antonio Citterio, this exceptional space provides the ideal environment to show the B&B Italia lifestyle. Current designers include Patricia Urquiola, Jeffrey Bernett, Vincent Van Duysen, Antonio Citterio, Mario Bellini and Paolo Piva. B&B Italia also holds regular design exhibitions in store.

BERNARDT DESIGN BY DANERKA

Bernhardt Design was founded in 1980 by the 119-year-old Bernhardt Furniture Company and continues to be a leader and innovator in furniture and design production. During the past 10 years, Creative Director Jerry Helling has assembled an extraordinary creative team that has positioned Bernhardt Design as one of the leading international design companies. Global Edition is the first collection to be launched in the European market by Bernhardt Design in partnership with Danerka in Milan this year. The 14-piece collection was inspired by the quest to create individual pieces that transcend specific style, category, origin or time period – pieces that have a sense of permanence and quality.

BISAZZA

Founded in 1956, Bisazza leads the world in creating the most innovative glass mosaic products. Over the years, the company has always pursued a dual objective: the preservation and rediscovery of the processes and techniques typifying the Venetian mosaic tradition, and constant technological renewal. They work with the worlds leading designers including Marcel Wanders and Patricia Urquiola and will be working with a new range of designers in 2008.

FLOWER COUNCIL OF HOLLAND

The Flower Council of Holland is the worldwide marketing arm of the cut flower and houseplant industry of the Netherlands. Earlier this year The Flower Council appointed Camron to create PR campaigns around events such as Salone de Mobile, the London Design Festival and London Fashion Week, that will generate awareness of the FCH as the authority on trends relating to flowers and plants among influential figures in interior design, fashion, architecture and stylists.

GRAHAM & BROWN

Graham & Brown is the UK’s leading wallpaper manufacturer, supplying innovative wallpaper designs to some of the largest and best known retailers in the world. Based in Blackburn, Graham & Brown celebrated its 60th birthday last year – and still with a family member on the board. The company has a strong design heritage, developing partnerships with licensed designers and collaborating with ‘undiscovered’ young talent to bring exciting, affordable designs to the consumer.

HOMESENSE

This spring sees the UK launch of a unique homeware retailer called HomeSense – a brand new concept in homeware shopping. Its stores will offer a huge range of top quality and branded homeware at irresistible prices, from designer home décor and kitchenware to unique accessories from around the world. Homesense adopts a winning formula of simple, easy to shop stores and a team of experienced buyers who scour the marketplace for great deals. HomeSense, which is part of TJX Companies Inc, opened its first store in Poole in April 2008. An additional five stores will open this spring in Cardiff, Manchester, Bristol, Northampton and Gloucester.

IITTALA

Established in 1881, Iittala is a driving force in Scandinavian design most famed for its iconic Aalto vase by Alvar Aalto first produced in 1936 and its Toikka birds by Oiva Toikka. The Iittala store in London at 126 Regent Street offer the full Iittala product range including cookware, dinner sets and decorative items for the home. Iittala stands for ‘Lasting Everyday Design Against Throwawayism’. In an increasingly disposable world, Iittala believes that everyone has the right to expect design to last a lifetime.
